A Cup of Zoo
A Thai and English visitor website that brings the café, gardens, and animal encounters into one place to plan a day out.

Context
A Cup of Zoo is a café and farm at Khlong 6 in Pathum Thani. A visit can include a drink, time in the gardens, and meeting animals. The website needs to convey that atmosphere while helping people decide where to go and what to expect.
My role
I designed and built the website, translated the owner’s visitor information into page flows, and connected the content-management system. The shop’s supplied references, animal details, and menu material shaped the content.
Design story
Start with the place
Animal photography and video lead the homepage. Paper tones, watercolor details, and garden colours extend the feeling of the café without competing with the animals. The invitation to plan a visit stays visible alongside the more leisurely route into the experience.
Turn the map into a way to explore
The illustrated map connects named places: the café, indoor animal area, Japanese gardens, and outdoor stops. Visitors can choose a point on the map or use its accompanying list. The drawing gives a sense of the place; the named controls make each destination easier to find.
Let the animals have their own identities
Individual profiles give visitors a way to recognise the animals before arriving. The animal directory, favourites voting, and homepage podium carry this thread across the site. These sit alongside the practical pages for menus, activities, group visits, and Zoo Clubs.
Keep the useful details close
Planning a visit should not require reading the entire story. Directions, contact details, opening information, and links to menus have direct destinations. Core visitor pages are available in Thai and English. The CMS gives the owner a place to maintain changing content as the venue evolves.
What was built
- A photographic homepage with controllable video and an illustrated experience map.
- Animal profiles and public favourites voting.
- Menu, activities, visit-planning, group-event, and Zoo Clubs pages.
- Thai and English versions of the core visitor journey.
- CMS-backed content, with public news and animal information.
The result
The live website connects the character of the venue with the practical task of planning a visit. The screenshots below show public pages; they do not imply a measured increase in visits, bookings, or sales.
Image and source notes
The public homepage, October 2026. Animal photography introduces the place; visit planning stays within reach.
The illustrated map and named destination controls offer two ways to explore the same places.
Animal identities carry into the directory and favourites podium. Vote totals are a snapshot from October 2026, not a business-performance measure.
Content refreshed on 7 November 2026 from the published Quack & Honk A Cup of Zoo page.
The date shown is the earliest commit in this project's repository (2026-09-24), not a confirmed date when all project work began.
