Medicine, systems, and the work between them
I'm an Occupational Medicine physician and software developer. Most of my projects begin with recurring clinical problems: information scattered across spreadsheets, repetitive tasks that take up people's time, or a process that was never designed as a system. I study the workflow, build the missing tool, and refine it with the people who use it.
The starting point is work that gets stuck: data split across files, repeated entry, or results that cannot be traced to their source. Fixing those problems gives people more time to use the information instead of arranging it.
